The Joy of “Being”

Many, many moments before the Tea Being came into awareness, it was busy doing. Doing “this” and doing “that.”  When it was not doing “this and that,” its thoughts were either in the past or the future.  “If only I had done this or if only I had done that.” Seemingly, without its consent, the wonder and joy for life had been replaced with an unsettling numbness...

Time Passes no matter how we choose to spend it...

...until one day the Universe placed in the path of the Human Doing a Human Being. Long story short, the Human Being gently awakened the Human Doing from its self-induced coma. The Being revealed to the Doing, the Joy, Wonder, Excitement, Beauty and Mystery that are always present in the moment. A Baby Being was reborn. The joy of wonder returned to the Baby Being’s world and life was never to be the same again—which brings us to Now.

The Tea Being is a concept and company that was born in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. It is our intention here at the Tea Being to bring to you a small sampling of what life has to offer. We search the world over to find items that will complement being fully present in the moment. We offer incredible fine loose leaf teas, wonderful tea pots and accessories to help you brew the perfect cup of tea. We offer aromatic incense that will bring the fragrances and essences of nature to your home. Now that you are enjoying moments of being fully present, you may notice that our selection of goods is limited. We have purposely made it our mission to focus on the idea that less may be more.
